Fix: WhatsApp Messages Not Sending
Troubleshoot WhatsApp notification issues
Check WhatsApp Connection Status
In the left sidebar, go to **Settings → WhatsApp AI Assistant** and check the connection status at the top of the page.
Check WhatsApp Credit Balance
Go to **Settings → Notifications** and check your WhatsApp Utility Credits balance. Top up if the balance is at zero.
Verify Customer Phone Number Format
Customer phone numbers must include the country code with no spaces or dashes — for example, **+2348012345678** not 08012345678.
Check Message Template Status
In Meta Business Manager, confirm that your WhatsApp message templates show **Approved** status. Resubmit any templates that are Pending or Rejected.
Still Having Issues?
Return to **Settings → WhatsApp AI Assistant** and use the test message feature to send a test notification. If that fails, contact support using the in-app chat bubble in the bottom-right corner.
